Hi Jeanean, this is the instructor of the course. Thank you for showing Internet. Let me know if you have any questions about the course and I can gladly help. We are still accepting students for the upcoming course.
This training series looks super comprehensive! I've been wanting to get better at documenting the APIs I work with, and the hands-on exercises with tools like Postman are a huge plus. I'm especially excited to see they are including a section on https://mermaidviewer.com/. Visualizing API flows has always been a bit tricky for me, so learning how to do that properly will be a game-changer. Definitely considering signing up for the July session!
Hello Rattan, I'm Mark, the instructor of the course. Thank you for showing interest in the course. We are still accepting students for the upcoming Winter schedule starting in February. We currently did not have a July course scheduled. We will likely schedule another course in 2026 but we are unsure of the exact date right now. Let me know if you have any questions! It sounds like the course may be a good fit for you. We have had really good feedback from previous students.
Will this program be repeated? I know of many tech writers who would like to acquire these skills, but I haven't found any course where a non-programmer would feel comfortable taking it. LMK, and I will be happy to let my followers know.
Hi Lin, I am the instructor for the course. Thank you for your interest. The course is typically repeated when enough people have signed up, and you can be notified when the next session is scheduled.
I designed the course to be friendly for non-developers but will cover advanced topics after the basics. Most of the students are technical writers.
Let me know if you have any more questions! FYI here is the waitlist link:

And I wanted to add that we are still accepting students for the upcoming course :)
Is this course appropriate for someone without any experience working with APIs? My experience is mainly in documenting hardware and manufacturing.
Yes, it’s designed to teach you what you need to know about APIs and how to document them.
