Today we’re announcing a new addition to our Substack publication: The Content Wrangler subscriber chat. This new feature is part of our work reimaging the website and the services and information we provide subscribers. It’s an iterative adventure — a work in progress.
Think of subscriber chat as a conversation space in the Substack app that we set up exclusively for subscribers — like a group chat or live hangout. We’ll post short prompts, thoughts, and updates that come our way, and you can jump into the discussion.
To join our chat, you’ll need to download the Substack app, now available for iOS and Android. Chats are sent via the app, not email, so turn on push notifications so you don’t miss the conversations as they happen.
How to get started
Download the app by clicking this link or the button below. Substack Chat is now available on both iOS and Android.
Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for chat inside.
That’s it! Jump into our thread to say hi, and if you have any issues, check out Substack’s FAQ.
Behind-the-scenes we're working to publish a log-jam of content from our contributors, curate topic-based collections of content, and present findings from academic, peer-reviewed studies and summaries of original research conducted by The Content Wrangler and its partners.
I'd love to have this available without the app. I like to keep work and life separate and would prefer following this on my work laptop. Hoping chat in the browser will be enabled soon!
