Scott Abel is a content management strategist and structured content evangelist whose strengths lie in helping organizations improve the way they author, maintain, publish, and archive their information assets. Scott’s website, TheContentWrangler.com, is a popular online resource for technical writers with an interest in content management. His online social network, http://thecontentwrangler.ning.com">The Content Wrangler Community, attracts a global community of content professionals from a wide variety of disciplines and vertical markets.
A founding member of Content Management Professionals (CM Pros), Scott formerly served as Executive Director of the organization. He has also had leadership positions in the Society for Technical Communication.
Scott writes regularly for a variety of publications, speaks frequently at industry conferences, and runs both the Documentation and Training and Web Content conference series, in addition to coordinating the annual Intelligent Content conference.
