CM Statistics: The Cost of Searching

According to research from International Data Corporation (IDC), “the amount of time wasted in futile searching for vital information is enormous, leading to staggering costs to the enterprise.” IDC studies have found that the cost of searching for – but not locating – information costs an organization of 1,000 workers about $6 million US a year.
